PAST PROJECT: FORTIFY SECURITY & ELECTRICAL.

PROJECT OVERVIEW.

Lachlan from Fortify Security and Electrical hired me as a freelancer to conduct the necessary research, and rewrite all of the content for their new website. This project involved in-depth keyword research and competitor research, and extensive content creation.

THE CHALLENGE.

There were a few challenges present throughout this project, which had to be taken into consideration during the research and content creation phases:

  • A large number of local competitors across Newcastle and other surrounding towns/suburbs.

  • The large volume of content that had to be created.

  • The array of pages across various service offerings (ie electrical and security), and service areas.

  • Ensuring structure and internal linking was logical, lending to better performance over time.

THE RESULTS.

I’m pleased to say we were able to achieve some excellent outcomes throughout this project. These include:

  • A strong uptick in organic clicks for non-branded search queries (for example, security camera installation Newcastle’).
